COMBAT IN THE VALLEY(coming soon)

Jiu-jitsu is a legendary and extremely effective art as a means of self defense and the style can be traced back for many centuries to its' native country of Japan, where it was use as a suplimental training form for the Samurai warriors to accompany their legendary weapon training.

Jiu-jitsu is one of the oldest forms of hand-to-hand combat in Japan. Records of Jiu-jitsu date back over 2000 years and the style was spawned from combat systems of warfare that were exclusive to various types of weaponry.

These systems of combat were primarily, but not exclusively taught, learned, and used, by the legendary Samurai, who were a very high and very respected class of warriors who, at one time, were the ruling class of Japan ... Jiu-jitsu was the Samurai warriors main style of combat techniques after their weapon of choice, the sword.

At C.M.A.A., each student will learn the basic fundimentals of the art of Jiu-jitsu which will include stances and movement, falling techniques, joint locking techniques, throwing, grappling techniques, chokes/strangling techniques, and standing and ground submission techniques. A student learns self defense techniques to counter all types of attacks and Jiu-jitsu offers the average person an ability to cope with, and triumph over, a physical attacker.
